The Other Julian

Well, to be completely honest, I hate writing about myself.  It makes me feel conceited, and who’s even going to read it anyways?  Im a Senior in high school and I live in the WONDERFUL Orange County, California.  Love California, hate living in the OC.  I’m extremely opinionated and i’m a diehard LGBT rights activist.  I’m gay (shocking, I know), and I don’t hesitate to say so and label myself as so because it’s been such an integral part of my personal identity since I came out that I feel like it’s important for me to identify as such.  I feel extremely lucky, i’ve never encountered hardships such as being rejected by my family or friends, or being extensively bullied and harrased for being myself.  However, I understand that the majority of people like me don’t encounter a similar situation, and that has and continues to motivate me in my activism work.  I’m not religious at all, I don’t beleive that we need to put any kind of faith in a higher being to be good people, or have a purpose in life.  I love spending time with my family and friends.  I’ve never been very artistic at all, so I use my Tumblr to try to express myself through my blog.  Hope you like it as much as I do.
